Business documents should be primarily accessible from one shared and transparent location. We have developed the NINA software add-on designed to encrypt shared documents stored in Microsoft SharePoint, running both in the customer’s IT infrastructure or cloud, and in the shared Microsoft Office 365 storage.
With its unique approach, the NINA add-on extends the features of common shared storage with new possibilities of highly secure storage for sensitive and confidential documents. At the same time, it retains all the benefits of electronic document sharing, including editing and collaboration of employees of an organization who have permission for the appropriate document.
The NINA add-on is designed to eliminate access not only of an unauthorized user/employee, but also of the system administrator. With NINA, you don’t have to worry about unauthorized access to your sensitive corporate or personal data.
The document owner has full control over the sharing of the encrypted document, including the possibility to add or remove users who have access to the decrypted content of the document after entering their personal PIN.

Security first. We are using currently the most secure method with 256-bit key encryption. To break the cipher by a brute force attack, it is necessary to try out 2256 combinations, which is not possible in a real time horizon using the current computing tools.
Every attempt of document decryption is carefully logged. An administrator can track who and when they tried to decrypt the document.
It is not necessary to authorize the upload and encryption of a document to shared storage by entering a personal PIN. NINA supports a program path, in addition to user encryption. Shared document storage can store documents, e.g. personal system (payslips). Documents are saved and automatically encrypted for specific users.
Each user is prompted to choose their personal PIN to decrypt documents when they first use the NINA add-on. Rules for PIN syntax can be enforced at the policy level. It is possible to set a rule that the PIN must contain at least one capital letter and at least one digit.
The HR system generates monthly payslips that are stored in an encrypted form in the Office 365 environment. Only a legitimate employee or an HR manager can decrypt the payslip after entering their personal PIN.
Employees have their payslips available in an electronic form with the utmost emphasis on security.
A manufacturing company has its important patents protected by the NINA add-on. Patents are easily accessible from any device with Internet access but only to managers who have the possibility to decrypt them by entering their personal PIN.
Sensitive business contracts are secured by encryption to prevent unauthorized access. Encrypted contracts can also be shared securely with external business partners who have the possibility to download the contract from a shared repository in a decrypted form after entering their personal PIN.
